They take forever to respond, communication is terrible. We payed for higher end stuff and it's still cheap. Carpet worn out fast, they didn't tell us when we picked out our cabinets that they can't get wet or be in direct sunlight. Sloppy painting and horrible trim work. Never will I go through them again.

My husband and I began the building process in January. It started off smooth and we enjoyed getting to make custom choices. That being said, everything costs extra. I mean everything. The included option for kitchen floors isn’t even waterproof. So that being said, you have to either spend extra on floors that you can actually mop, or you are stuck with the free included option. We were supposed to move in mid July but ended up getting pushed back to August 3rd, which is okay but they don’t give you a huge notice so if you are renting this can be a huge issue as it was for us. Finally, upon move in there was some small issues that they made sure to come and fix when I sent photos or emails. My main issue is the fact that we still do not have gas heat and it’s nearly October, due to Xcell not being able to get the meter numbers, and so on. It’s been an ongoing issue since we moved in. I worked with Kim looking at new home construction and model homes, she did an excellent job and was a huge part in my decision to have Jordahls build my new home. Molly was my designer and she was so helpful helping me pick out the design options and more than patient answering my questions and emails. All in all, everyone I encountered from Jordahls was very friendly and helpful. I'm very happy with my new home and look forward to many happy years with it. Service: New home construction
