Absco Heating & Home Service

My split-type A/C units were working perfectly until this company was brought in by our property management to clean our equipment at a discounted price. When I returned to my seasonal unit a few weekss later I found one of the units was not working (cooling). I called Absco and they told me freon had been added. They then came back out to the property and found they had to add more freon and "stop a leak with dye". The unit again stopped working about 3 days later and since then they continue to book a date to come back to service but cancel at the last minute as well as sending me a bill for $285.00! I have decided to cut my losses and have retained an authorized repair service for the equipment. I would never suggest this company for any repair work. To date I have spent $1,300.00 repairing the problem they caused. There was no leak. They had added additional freon that caused the system to stop working properly.

I can't say enough good things about this company! It was a friday afternoon, I was 38 weeks pregnant, my husband was in the hospital, and I went to put some groceries into the basement freezer when I saw that a pipe connected to my boiler was spraying out water and I had a small flood in the basement. I was stressed out and the plumber that my neighbor recommended was out of town, but he referred me to Absco. They were able to come out that same day during business hours, fixed the problem quickly and they were affordable.
