I called because I had a plumbing emergency that happened on Mother’s Day. They were able to show up early the next morning on time, and fixed my problem. In that I have no issues. My problem is with their prices. I had other small issues I wanted to get address, but I was going to be charged $400 or one issue, plus $500 for another, not including parts. Those prices are insulting. So I had just the one emergency fixed for over $600. If it wasn’t an emergency, and time sensitive, I would have shopped around for a better price. I was dumbfounded by what I was being charged. Service: Plumbing leak repair
Ramon from Roto Rooter was amazing. We had a serious pipe break which required a major fix. Ramon was able to solve our issue very quickly and was able to correct our pipe problem. We also had a leaking main line valve and Ramon waited around until the water company arrived so that he could replace our valves for us. Overall we were in a terrible situation and Ramon was able to fix it for us at a fair price and in a timely manner. Will definitely use Roto Rooter again. Services: Plumbing pipe repair, Plumbing leak repair
Pros: ease of online scheduling, prompt response, courtesy of onsite plumber. Cons: prohibitively expensive. Estimates are not provided until plumber arrives on site. In their defense, you can decline to use them if you don’t agree with the estimate. I was quoted an estimate of $1210 to unclog two drains (bathroom sink and bathtub), a job that the plumber estimated would probably take 60 minutes. Charging $1210 per hour to unclog household drains is exorbitant. I found a competent local professional that did the job in 30 minutes for a little over $100. Roto-Rooter is charging rates Donald Trump’s corporate lawyers would be jealous of.
