MTJ Handyman

Not rating based on workmanship, but that I hired MTJ handyman and a different handyman service showed up. They had sold the lead to someone else. If they had let me know that that is what they were doing I would be more satisfied.

I made an appointment with them for a given day. No one showed up and no one called. I called back and made another appointment for another day. I was given a window. They missed the window. When I called to find out when they were coming, I just kept being told later and later times. It was a complete waste of my time -- I had set aside time to be home for their visit. I told them not to bother coming and will be using another handyman service in the future.

I called to arrange an estimate for a job. 2 guys shows up at the wrong time slot to assess the issue, which I believe MTJ outsourced the job to another party. After looking around, one of the guys says he is going to grab some tools to identify the issue. About 10 mins later the lead guy says he is going to home depot to buy a part and charge me for the labor. We did not agree to a price nor sign a contract and he wants to charge me. This is very unprofessional and I would highly recommend to stay away from this place.
