Personable people, knowledgeable, good service. They installed and service our central air conditioning system. This past November they replaced our furnace. They were excellent throughout the process of providing an estimate and getting the work permit, to communications and getting the work completed. The crew that installed the furnace was very professional and did a nice, clean job. I highly recommend Whalen & Ives. Update: This month (June 2022) I had W&I replace our 16 year old A/C system because it wore out. Another great job by W&I, this time by Alex and Eric. I’ve used Whalen & Ives on numerous occasions for AC and furnace service/repairs and for an AC replacement/installation. Never had any issues and felt work was done competently at a fair price. They also respond promptly to phone calls especially for emergency service (even on Christmas Day!), which is more than can be said for a number of other high profile HVAC contractors in the area who act like they’re doing you a favor. You could not ask for better service. The technician explained what needed to be done and cost involved. My problem returned and Scott Ives resolved the matter in a timely and very professional manner. I will use them again on all of my properties.
