I contacted Alex after receiving several other quotes for a complete central AC replacement job. After speaking to him about my options, he recommended partial replacement of the unit which most likely had the problem. I found him to be very honest, straight forward, and ended up saving us a bundle. He was punctual, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We’ll continue using Alex for all our needs.

After hours, I discovered my basement was beginning to flood with sewer water out of the pipe that serves the washer and dryer. I was afraid it was the main sewer line to street and imagined a horrific night ahead. I called NJ Affordable, and Alex was at my house in 30 minutes; through process of elimination, he figured out the clog was just inside the house and was able to find an entry point without cutting pipe unclogged it within half an hour with little mess or fuss. He then gave me advice for avoiding the problem in the future. His rate was reasonable, esp. for after-hours work, and when I tried to tip him, he waived the money away. Alex was fantastic! He explained exactly what the problem was and wasn't for my existing tub faucet. The tub faucet was here prior to us moving in and was a cheap install and when the handle broke, other plumbers couldn't produce a solution without breaking my wall open. Alex was able to shop around for the products and when he couldn't find it, he repaired mine in his shop.
