D&D Roofing and Sheet Metal

I requested a quote via the website. The estimator never even called me. He did an unscheduled drive-by, which made my wife nervous because there was a random guy parked out front staring out our house. He emailed me a quote in an empty email (no context or words, just an attachment with quote). I was very excited to get the quote from D&D. Their reviews are generally awesome and all the major shingle manufacturers recommend them. My roofing job was theirs to lose, but they lost it before I ever even saw the price. You might have a better experience and I think they do good work, but I had a really bad experience with their estimating process.

During our complete roof replacement by D&D, we found both Ron and Rich very fair and transparent. They were able to accommodate our needs to keep business as usual throughout the whole process. They came out did an inspection, and i followed their recommendation, The very next storm, and the leak is significantly worse, Now going on 8 weeks waiting for them to fix what they failed to do the first time. I posted my experience to a NextDoor app, and have had numerous neighbors reply that they had a similar experience with D&D. D&D told me in an unprofessional or courteous tone that they are not responsible for the roof leaking. They are now providing a quote for more than twice as much as they originally did after the inputted my roof and made their recommendations to fix the leak and do additional preventative maintenance.
