I had a central AC unit replacement done with a rather complicated install into my apartment's ceiling. The prior owners had used mechanics common to the building to scam me during the sale into a shoddy repair job on a unit that clearly should have been replaced. Of course this left me burned by trust issues when the unit broke again in the middle of summer.
