Popkin Electric

I rarely write reviews, but I felt the need to write one for Popkin Electric. A few weeks ago, the power in our home went out during the middle of the day. I tried resetting the breakers, and nothing worked. I worried for my elderly parents since both use oxygen concentrators. Luckily, they have portable machines! Still, we didn't know how quickly we would get the power restored in our home. I called several electricians, and none were available. I explained the situation to Popkin Electric, and they got someone here very quickly. My panel is old, and the part that clocked out could not be replaced. Thanks to Giovanni, the electrician, and his boss, Andrew, for putting their heads together and finding a safe solution that restored my power (without the part). Had major issue in 2021 they came quickly and identified the issue and completed the repair at a reasonable cost. So I called them back this year 2022 to correct another issue, not major this time, again came out quickly and identified and repaired quickly at a fair price!! This recommendation/review is about 17 years late! However, being in the same home for this period of time, and seeing what work held up and what work did not, I felt it was appropriate to leave a review now, 17 years later, as there is hardly any work that was done initially on my home that has lasted the test of time...except the electrical work. After 17 years, my electrical work done at my new home at the time by Popkin Electric is one of the very few jobs in which NOTHING has gone wrong. This is unique. Extensive project involving tons of wiring, fixtures and many unique job requests (I am a smart home and automation freak) and nothing has had to be replaced or serviced except for one ceiling fan, which oddly, was not something provided by Popkin, only installed. As a homeowner who paid great attention to all work being performed as my home was built, Popkin's wiring and circuits were a work of art.
