Beware! I did some research to find a reliable and well reviewed handyman company to install an AC in my office and swap out two floodlights in my driveway and backyard. My initial call to schedule a same day appointment I was told the service can be done within an hour for $95/hr. I agreed to the service and within a few hours the handyman arrived. The handyman arrived at 12:23pm (my ring doorbell recorded his entry and exit) and he immediately tells me the job will cost $275 and he didn’t know why I was told otherwise. I apologized and told him that’s not what I agreed to and it was out of my budget. He then said ok “I’ll honor what price the lady told you on the phone”. He proceeds to do the AC installation and then moved on to the floodlights. All of this was completed at 1:13PM. He tells me it will be $160 even though the job was completed under an hour. He then turns on the electricity to check the lights and what worked fine the day before no longer worked.. my backyard lights w
