I first used EJ's Contractors CNY several years ago to seal a leaking skylight and install two chimney caps. It was a very positive experience that solidified my decision to hire them for our home's roof replacement this summer. Again, Ed and his crew did a great job for us. Our new roof looks and performs great. They were professional, hardworking, responsive, and no nonsense (which I like). l did get two other estimates to be prudent and Ed's was right in the middle. I desperately need a new roof. So I called this place looking to get a price estimate for the roof. After the person picked up, I explained I was looking for a price estimate for a new roof. He replied, "Hard to do over the phone." I misheard him speak & thought he had said he won't do it over the phone, & so I repeated what I thought I heard him say back to him as a question (To Clarify Just In Case I Had Heard Him Wrong), I replied saying, "Oh so you won't do that over the phone?" The way this guy replied after I calmly asked back this reasonable question, you would have thought I just murdered this guys dog or something as he yelled back what he actually said, "HARD TO DO OVER THE PHONE!!!" (Him Knowing I Simply Heard Him Incorrectly, He Could Have Easily Solved The Misunderstanding Instead Of Loosing It As He Did). Honestly I'm not even as mad as much as I am confused. It's not as if we had some kind of long bad history, it's not even like I was an irritating costumer being a pain
