FYI: The owner (David Whitman) admitted to my husband that his employees have written fake reviews for his business. We have text message evidence of that. If this review saves one family from going through what we have gone through then I will be satisfied. Do your research and do a google search of the owner so you really know what kind of person you are dealing with. We signed a contract at the beginning of April and were continuously lied to about when work would begin, when material would be delivered and when our job would be completed. They showed up on JULY 24 after we told them we were no longer interested in doing business with them... over three months after signing a contract. On Wednesday JULY 24th they removed most of our roof, working until 12:30AM. The removed roof was left on a tarp on my front yard and flower beds, destroying my plants and a small tree. On Friday JULY 26 they returned to finish removing the old roof and cleaning up our front yard, working until 1:30AM

Whitman Metal & Roofing does not have a licences to do work in Buffalo. Do your homework. Check with the Buffalo licences department. Also, Mr. Whitman is wanted for larceny in Buffalo. Please call the Buffalo PD if you know of his whereabouts.

I would recommend Whitman Metal & Roofing Inc. I had some damage to my roof. They came out to provide a quote and then returned as scheduled to do the work. After removing part of my roof for repair, it became apparent that I had a substantial amount of preexisting damage from an inadequate previous repair. I expected a substantial increase in price, but the additional cost was very minimal. I am very happy with the work and would definitely recommend.
