My hot water heater was replaced in a timely manner. Repair persons were were polite and explained everything. The cost was reasonable and less than another plumber I had previously used. Service: Water heater installation

I used Calhoun a couple of times...They seemed great and fair...however, their business practices are unethical. This company installed a bathroom for me in 2017. Calhoun told me that I didn't need a permit as long as I don't sell my home. Recently, I had a different company come to my home to price and will later install my egress window...That company said that my basement isn't up to code until I get the bathroom permitted and I could even be told to rip it out. I called Calhoun and asked how much would it cost for them to permit it. I understand it won't be free. I told them what the other company told me... Calhoun left me on hold for 20 minutes then hung up on me, I called back and the didn't answer my next few calls. When Calhoun answered, Mike Mike set a date to visit my home. On the date that Mike came he was really late...I called him to see if he was still coming and they told me he's on the way. I will never use this company again just base off the customer service I have received this morning. I had a unit installed just a couple of years ago that no longer works. I called for info on the warranty and the woman who answered the phone was VERY stand off-ish as though my call was annoying her. I then called back a second time to ask for a serial number as I’m unable to see it due to the way it’s installed. She suggested I get under the sink, clear it out and find it. Stating they don’t keep record. Well mam not everyone has the capability some of us have disabilities which is why I would hope a company like your own would keep track. Now I’m stuck with a non working disposal and no way to have it fixed. Services: Plumbing pipe repair, Garbage disposal repair
