After satisfactorily working with Fritz Baumann & Sons to repair some wobbly toilets, I requested an estimate for a new hot water heater. The price was fair for the unit and the labor, and I scheduled them to come out and do the install the following week. Two days later the existing hot water heater died ahead of schedule and Fritz Baumann was able to speed up their timeline and get the new unit in the very same day--unfortunately, the building elevator was out of service and the FB team spent the next two days checking in with me on the phone to know if it had been fixe, and the moment it was, they came over and did the job. Communication has been superb and installation was completed professionally. They were able to provide a direct replacement for our water heater which was atypical for most residential applications. A competitor quoted me an outrageous fee for a same day service call on a water heater and sump pump emergency. I googled to find what turns out to be my neighborhood, multi-generational plumber.
