We have been Columbus Worthington Air customers for decades, and I have even posted a positive review regarding their service technician in the past. However, our latest experience with Columbus Worthington Air has not been a trustworthy experience. During our fall maintenance service, the technician performed a "Mandatory Heat Exchanger Inspection" and told us there was a crack in the heat exchanger. He then told us that by Ohio law he had to turn the unit off for safety concerns. That was followed up the next day with a salesman giving us a quote for nearly $13,000 for a new heating and AC units. The salesman told both my wife and me that if a crack was not found in the unit once it was removed that they would cover the cost for the entire new system. The install team came in a few days later and did a wonderful job of installing our new heating unit. From the time I called the first Service Tech, Evan, to having a new Furnace installed, took 3 days. Our Sales Tech, Mike, was friendly and helpful. He took the time to discuss our options, and addresses any concerns. The service crew, came to work. They removed everything from the house and cleaned up when finished. Their lead tech is good. Explained how the system worked, the controls, the maintenance. All around a pleasure to work with. My new system works great! The air feels great, the humidity and dust control were two options Ive wanted for a while.
