The technician Kevin was excellent! He deserves 5 stars plus more if possible. The reason for 3 stars is the policy of Sal's corporate office. I had contacted the manufacturer, they diagnosed the issue & sent the part to the home. The technician from Sal's came to the same conclusion as to the problem in person. The problem is that Sal's Corporate does not allow the repair staff to use a part, (even when it has been verified as correct by both the manufacturer & their own staff & sent directly from the manufacturer in an unopened box!), simply because it didn't come through their own channels. FRUSTRATING! Saving time & money is important! Now both they & I will need to waste another day to get this fixed. If another company was available & would come, I'd have used them instead. No other service companies are close enough or competent to fix my boiler. Many other reviewers say the same thing! Fix it please. Sean replaced the hot water line from the basement to the 2nd floor bathroom sink. He was able to minimize the openings necessary to replace that line. Though, of course that's another tradesman (plasterer) to find. As he encountered no obstructions, he was able to drop the new line from above with ease. The cleanup could have been better, but I'm thrilled to have full hot water pressure at that sink again. Mike and CJ called me before they came to install my new hot water tank. They were on time and prompt. They were professional and did a good job in a good, timely fashion. The explained everything to me very well. And they explained other services that I need to have done to ensure that I don't have any problems with flooding in my home.
