I needed the receiver replaced on my ceiling fan. I could not locate the remote so he said he couldn’t check it to prove me right. I was using my home warranty to cover this. He took my hundred dollars as my co-pay and I never heard from him again. I was able to get a hold of him two weeks later and I found out he had closed the case without ever even contacting me. I ordered the receiver myself and I just needed it installed. So he got paid for nothing and I had a friend install it. Would not recommend this company. Does not return phone calls or correspondence. Service: Light fixture repair

UPDATE after the second claim visit and I'm pleased. The same two older gentlemen came out and completed the work on some floor outlets. My husband arrived home before they were finished so he asked again if they would look at the other work he's needing done and provide him with a quote. They did look at it and talk it over for a few minutes but still no response or quote for the work. Needless to say... My husband is pretty irritated. Strange that you can't seem to get them to want to do what would probably be a much better paying job than what they've done so far through our home warranty company. Oh well. Their loss of the business I suppose. After so many horrible experiences with our previous home warranty carrier and their contractors, I finally found and went with another company and this job was the first claim we made with First American Home Warranty. This operation is top notch. They do a lot of our claims for First American Home warranty and I cannot say enough nice things. Timely, professional service. They are the best!
