Called them in for a gas pressure test. All they had to do was put air in the gas lines, see if pressure held if not fix the leak; a one man job. When I saw 3 guys get out of the truck I was a little perplexed. They didn't even look at my meter before they had the grand plans of moving the meter next to the house, run new lines, etc. That should only be done on older homes if there is a leak between the house and outside meter. Codes are not an issue either as it's grandfathered in even though they told me otherwise. According to them the code had just "changed". Called 2 other plumbers for a second opinion as I felt a little uneasy and they both agreed I was being taken for a ride. One came out and did the job. The setup was not a problem for him, the city inspector, nor ONG. So, the moral of the story is to know what you need done because you can't take their word for it and if you feel uneasy go elsewhere. I saved myself $600 by trusting my gut.

We had an issue with the drain line from our washer and kitchen sink that was not re-connected by the plumbing company a previous owner had had to run a new drain to the city main. Professional came in and gave us an estimate and they completed the job for what they quoted and for how long they said it would take.
