We had a tree knock out a power line on our street that sent electrical surges to several houses & blew a transformer. Gilley electric was the company assigned to come out and assess the damage. They came quickly and made sure each house was able to get our power safely restored and heat back on for the night. The team followed up the next day to assess the damage to each of the houses individually. We personally dealt with Mike & Eli - they were thorough, kind & respectful. They made sure everything was working properly again, checked the integrity of anything we had concern over, followed up and came back quickly to finish the jobs they had to order parts for. Communication was great and overall I’m so pleased and grateful for their help. This was such a scary and stressful experience but knowing we were being taken care of by such a caring team made it so much easier. Will use again if necessary in the future. Highly recommend. I have used Gilley Electric a few times in past years. When you buy a house that is not new, there are always things you want to add or change - especially if you watch any of those HGTV shows.
I contacted Gilley Electric to install 4 ceiling fans in my new home. The fixtures were already wired and "ceiling fan ready." The purchased fans were still in the boxes, complete with instructions. Jan, in the office, was very nice and helpful in getting us scheduled the next afternoon - which was terrific since most companies I called could not get us on the schedule for a week or more. Two electricians arrived at our house at 8:45 a.m. I figured with two workers and four fans, the work should be completed in a couple hours. They ended up completing the job at 3:00 p.m. that afternoon The cost was nearly $800 to install 4 ceiling fans! It essentially took two trained electricians over an hour per fan! While I appreciate their ability to get me scheduled quickly, I am NOT impressed with the value I received for the money spent. I will NOT be calling Gilley Electric for work in the future.
