Dave was a very confident and knowledgeable service man. Our issue with our unit was super complex but Dave was able to go over the options and make sure we were comfortable with our decision. Highly recommend and would definitely request his services again down the road.

The two technicians are very friendly and quick to respond. I only had about 24 hours without AC (it was mid 90s and we work from home, so it was important to get it up and running ASAP). It was a weird flat rate pricing. The bandaid fix was $1.5k, up to almost $10k for a new unit. They had intermediate service plans as well. Keep in mind that all of the service plans, except the “bandaid” fix has warranty and X years of servicing. But my furnace and condenser is only 5 years old ! It was just the condenser that had an issue. So I chose the intermediate service plan to get it going. I did some research afterwards and found that I likely overpaid by a lot. I guess the high price is for the peace of mind for the next 3 years.

We had a "technician" from Aviator come to our house to check the AC unit. From the word go, he was sketchy. Started with him parking sidways across our driveway. I was on a work call, so my wife showed him the AC unit and air handler. Less than 10 minutes later, he is asking my wife "to have a seat" so they can discuss all the issues. I heard the start of the conversation and left my call and came down. The tech had no paperwork, told me to smell his hands to confirm that we had oil everywhere and our system was a total mess. I asked him to convey his concerns, but he just kept saying our system was full of oil, pressures were off, etc. I asked him to show me the gauges hooked up, he refused. Kept saying we had parts that were not to code, illegal. Hard core scare tactics. He continued to try and sell a new AC unit, air handler, etc. We contacted Able Heating and they sent a tech over that did a diagnostic (let us see the tests, gave results, took temperatures, etc. and so on).
