This review is to commend Ahren Burgdorf for the home insulation proposal he prepared for our older home. He was extremely thorough in his examination, including coming prepared with county records of the footprint and square footage. He listened carefully to our concerns and needs before doing a complete assessment of our attic and crawlspace. He then described his recommendations in real time. He was very accommodating to our needs for flexibility on the project given some of the work we planned to do ourselves. His written proposal came within one business day and was clear and detailed. He followed up quickly with emails or phone calls when we had additional questions and altered his proposal as necessary. His bid was much more complete and came in FAR lower than several other insulation companies we contacted. Ultimately we chose a different local contractor that fit our very tight budget. I contacted Day regarding a new install bid for my business. I spoke to Luke Stucky multiple times, he also came out to the business twice. Luke quickly provided us with a competitive bid that was comprehensive. Not knowing a lot about hvac when we started this project, I had a ton of questions. I had a ductless system put in the home and it has not been able to heat or cool since the first month of operation. I had them come back and they said everything was fine. So we had another company come in and work on the system. They had to charge the system again.They found some issues with the head units and fixed them. That lasted about four months before the unit died again. In December I had them come in to service the system and try and get it to work again. They cleaned the heads on all the units and re-charged the system(a unit this old should not have to have the system charged, let alone charged again). Once again the system does not work. So this is July, it is hot, and nothing works. So I went in to see if they will do anything to remedy the problem, I was told that it only has a one year warranty and it is past that time. He was very polite in telling me it’s my problem, but it’s my problem. Even though I showed pictures of where the leak was at initial installation. I
