I called and set up appointment to have a gas fireplace insert installed. It took about a month for someone to finally come out just to have him say ‘I don’t know about this and that, I’m not sure about this, etc.’ the whole appointment. He said give him 2 weeks to do some research and he will email me. After over two weeks and no follow up, I emailed the rep. He responded with a link to a website that had hundreds of different kinds and choices and said pick one you might like with no direction from him. How would I know what to pick. He’s supposed to be the expert. Never using this company. Bad first impression.

Fritch damaged the cad cell on my perfectly working burner during a routine cleaning. Recognizing their error, they came out and provided a temporary fix at no cost until the temporary fix failed again. They now want 1500 dollars to fix what they damaged. I spoke to the business to try to negotiate a fair price on the replacement part and was willing to pay 100 percent of the labor but they would not hear of it. I mean they recognized they damaged the part which is why the temp fix was at no charge but you would think they’d be willing to not mark up the replacement part they damaged. Guess not.
