Performed warranty repair on heat pump. The technician was on time and handled quickly and easily. Results were as expected. Over a period of many months, Burkholder's had been unable to obtain the needed part (a difficult-to-reach manufacturer). I finally secured the part and Burkholder's completed the repair. AC motor was seizing up after two hours. Technician said they dont stock motors on truck because boss wont allow it. Left with motor spinning but it seized up in the next hour (which I said it would do in advance). Next two ac companies said like 3 motors cover most units (inc ours) and the first one swapped it out. They said it was routine for all AC repair technicians to carry those motors. AC running great. Now getting quotes for new system and called back Burkholders to cancel quote and explained why (technician not adequately equipped to do AC repair). Boss didnt even call back to hear the why. They dont care about the customer so why waste your time with this company?
