Lapp Electric

Their "licensed" electricians came to my house 2 years ago for replacing electrical outlets and switches throughout the whole house and they installed ceiling fans. Since then, I have had nothing but issues with the outlets, switches, and ceiling fans that have since been needed repaired by an actual electrician. My electrician stated that Lapp Electric electricians did not even ground the switches and the wiring was not secured around the screws. The ground wire was tucked back into the wall on all switches. This is a fire hazard that Lapp Electricians created. I am so worried about their work that I have shut off electricity to my ceiling fans until I can get the wiring fixed. I called late morning and received a phone call back almost immediately. An appointment was set up for the same day and two gentlemen, Vincent and George, came out on time. Both gentlemen were extremely professional, courteous and just generally nice people. They found the problem almost immediately and rectified it. I recently hired someone from Mister Sparky to replace an electrical outlet. When he arrived, he made a big deal out of the outlet and asked me if he could take a picture of it because he "had never seen anything so bad." When he went downstairs to check out the panel, he claimed that i was so old that it was out of code and needed to be replaced. He quoted me $5k to replace the panel. When he left, I called Lapps to get a second opinion. Tim Kaminsky came out to look at the panel. He unscrewed the front to check the inside, and informed me that everything was fine. He said that the panel looked like new, and that everything looked like it had been done correctly. He said that, even if it would need to be installed, it would only cost $3k or maybe $3,500 if I wanted to upgrade. I will never go to Mister Sparky again, but I will stick with Lapp's Electric!
