Bob Means Plumbing

The Bob Means plumber, Roger, was baffled why we had low water pressure to our kitchen sink. He was talking about running all new water lines along the ceiling when my son-in-law came by. My son-in-law said that it was really a sediment in the lines issue. The plumber then backed down, tested lines to the kitchen faucet ant found that flow was actually getting that far. It was definitely a clogged faucet creating the problem. Then the plumber said that we should get a whole house sediment filter. A big change of approach from re-running lines to a sediment filter! I'm not sure what might have happened if my son-in-law hadn't shown up. We paid $189 ($79 for call, $110 for evaluation service call) for poor analysis that my son-in-law actually figured out himself. I did sign the invoice and paid the charge, but I recommend that you be cautious about Bob Means Plumbing. As a senior, I feel I was on the verge of being taken.

On Christmas eve at 9 pm, my water pipe broke in the kitchen, water exploding EVERY where. My niece Barrie knew of a Bob Means, he came out that night and turned of the water, and returned a few days later to repair the piping. I can't believe how lucky I was to have Bob! Still had to replace the flooring because none of my neighbors could turn off the water. Amazingman! 10 stars plus****

This a review of Bob Means - The human - rather than the service he provides as a plumber. Earlier today I was stuck in a tough situation, having locked my keys and phone inside my vehicle while at a gas station. He saw I was in need and, despite needing to be at a meeting in 10 minutes, took the time to help me out and find me a service to unlock my vehicle. He was polite, kind, and left only once he was sure someone was on their way to help me. I cannot speak for his services as a plumber, but as a human I rate him 5 stars. Thank you Bob!
