On Saturday I noticed that the metal framing around one of my drop ceiling tiles in the basement was black and burning. As soon as I turned off the light, it the crackling stopped, so I knew it was an electrical issue, and that it was a dangerous situation. I googled local electricians and saw Cermanski’s website. I called and Dave answered. I told him my problem and asked how soon he could come. He came on Sunday. During the Eagles game, mind you, and worked steadily for 4 hours until he got the job done. As it turned out, the electrical wiring throughout half of my basement had been performed in a slipshod manner and had created a serious fire hazard. It was a miracle that I discovered the problem in time, and that Dave was there in a pinch to save me and my house.
