Hospitality Heating and Air Conditioning

I purchased a new HVAC unit in February 2022. The motor went out two weeks ago. I have called for two weeks trying to get them to fix the unit they sold me. They said there is a nationwide shortage on motors and the owner is trying to find a resolution. I talked to another HVAC company and they informed me there is not shortage of motors and a universal motor could be put in until the proper motor arrives. They also said HVAC companies don’t make money on warranty work and that is why nobody is coming out to fix my unit. This is horrible to make people suffer in this heat unnecessarily. I am editing my review after my fiirst installation experience with Hospitality Heating and air. The service side of the business has always been an excellent experience but the installation side has been a struggle. My two day install bled into three days. The team showed up late on the first two days then asked to come back on Saturday morning to finish...I had agreed to it. When the team told me they were done on Saturday, I was informed the flue pipe install for my heater would happen on Monday since this crew did not have the ladders to get onto the roof. Long story short... After several no shows and me having to constantly call for two weeks, I finally have the full installation completed after 18 days. We are pretty understanding people and ad long as people are communicating with us, we will work with companies. Communication was lacking severly here. Pleasantly surprised. Our upstairs AC central air unit stopped cooling & when the tech from another company had done our annual maintenance, they thought the compressor had died. Since we have a home warranty with AHS & the maintenance company doesn’t work with AHS anymore, AHS dispatched Hospitality Heating & Air. I figured it would be weeks before we got our upstairs cool again with all the back & forth between the AHS warranty company & a new HVAC group. Tom from Hospitality diagnosed the issue (not the compressor) & fixed it on the spot with a hard start kit. I was impressed & our upstairs is cool again. Service: HVAC system maintenance
