We had a rough start with this company, but it ended well. We were initially very dismayed to see very large gaps around where the new sheet metal “box” that comes off of the new HVAC unit and attaches to the outer wall of our house. These gaps were large enough for a fist to fit through, or a small cat, and most definitely a rat!!! We were told that the installation crew had run out of spray foam and they were sending someone back to fill in these gaping holes with spray foam. You can’t fix this big of a hole or problem with mere spray foam!!! The sheet metal needed to be flanged out more to completely cover the existing hole where the old unit was removed. It appears they didn’t bother to measure or account for the size needed to cover the old opening. The top of the new sheet metal box that connects the new unit to the outside of the house looks noticeably bent and warped and it’s not even; it tilts to one side.
