UPDATE #2: Good on the owner for reaching out and being willing to make the situation right. Very commendable that he took it upon himself to understand what happened and worked to find a solution. I will consider using Hiller in the future. One of the greediest, most useless companies I have dealt with in a long time. I have been a member of their Happy Hiller club for 7+ years and paid their monthly membership fee of $21/month (going up to $25/month in September), and during this time their customer service has become worse by the month. If you ever have an issue, rest assure that they will try to replace (not repair) the issue and upsell you at every chance they get. Apparently their “technicians” cannot actually fix anything. They can only totally replace something at the highest cost imaginable, aka what makes them the most money.
