First and last time I will be calling these folks. Had an appointment between 2 and 4. Called to find out where tech was at 430. They proceeded to tell me the tech was at the Job before mine. Said they would call the tech and abruptly hung up on me. I call back again at 445 and they tell me that he has to install a part and then he would be on his way from Garland. During rush hour it would take an hour to get from Garland to north Plano, but when I told them 6:00pm would not work for me (I must have been on speaker phone) some other person chimed in and said it wouldn't take him that long. Maybe they have those new flying cars ? Anyways, I called back to talk to a manager and was hung up on. There are too many other companies in the area to have to put up with poor customer service. To make matters worse (for them) this could have been an easy sale. I just needed a price on a 2.5 ton Trane unit. I already know mine is bad!!! Find someone else.

I cannot say enough good things about Climate Tech! Around 5pm yesterday my AC quit working and I gave them a call, the lady on the phone was so polite and helpful. The first tech showed up quickly and diagnosed the problem, unfortunately it was a bad condenser and the whole exterior unit needed to be replaced. He told me they could have a team out to fix it right away and got me a quote. I had a second tech from a different company come out as a second opinion and he confirmed everything Climate Tech had told me almost to the exact word; the difference is that he told me they would charge about the same but wouldn’t be able to replace the the unit for a week. I called Climate Tech back, by this time it had to be close to 8 or 9pm, and again the office staff was super friendly and helpful, telling me that a team was on its way to my house to begin the replacement of my old unit. we called them to diagnose one unit because it was not cooling enough at the set temperature. they came two times apart 2months. Every time they charged but the temperature was not changed and they charged me. They came and billed for things which they did not perform and do not recommend using this company after our bad experience. they do not warantee their work; and the technicians are not qualified to find the problems.
