Coronado Auto Electric

Was sent by another shop to get it checked to see if my AC problem had anything to do with the relay and electrical stuff. Turns out it wasnt related to that and its the compressor. In no moment was I told that there would be a diagnostic charge per HOUR by the young gentleman working there. He gives me a note with my info. it doesnt say anywhere in the the ticket that there is a charge for it anywhere on it. It just says that once they repair was done they will charge $50 pesos daily for the car to be there. I went to pick it up- I decided to not do the repair cause its out of my budget for now. Young man says it will be $130 bucks. WOW. $130 bucks for checking what was wrong with the car. I got in the truck and guess what. there was a check engine light on and before It wasnt on. I rapidly went in to get answers. they managed to turn it off. I hope my truck doesnt break down from something else because of this. Reading some of these reviews make me wonder why did i even take it ther

Good work. Not too expensive. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I had to keep calling for updates. I only got 1 update call to me the couple days it was at the shop. The rest I had to be on them. But no big deal. Nice, friendly. I'd go again. They fixed my brake lights that wouldn't turn off when the car was off, they fixed a battery drain issue, my cruise control works again, and it's been starting up better. I actually forgot to tell them about the cruise control. Good job. They also explained whatever else I needed to know and what options I had. The price was fair 270. Especially because my cars older n the computer wouldn't read it (he even showed me) so he had to do it manually. Pretty quick job considering that. Actually was ready a day before he said. Pretty legit shop. Even had a small retail area n good little inventory of various auto electrical merchandise. If you need electrical work done on ur car maybe consider this place. Take my advice with a grain of salt

Do not do business there. They do horrible electrical work. They are expensive and take forever. They charge by the hour. I took my personal vehicle I paid over $1200 and continue to have the same issues and they disconnected by CD player when that was clearly not the issue.
