Lamont is very knowledgeable and straight forward. Mr. Handyman Services has very reasonable prices and cheaper than other contractors I have come across. Very happy with their service and will be using them going forward. Amy is also pleasant to talk to and very helpful.

Update after response. The only update on final invoice was giving us back the 40 dollar coupon and taking off the double 8 dollar charge. Not acceptable. If the owner was honestly concerned, we would have heard from him personally...not as a response to my review. Still very disappointed. We had an attic ladder installed in our garage. Several issues from that experience. First they did not complete the job. They were to paint and caulk the door. They told us the wood absorbed more of the paint than they expected and asked if we wanted them to go back and purchase more paint to finish the job. If you have to ask the answer is no. They did not put things back in place that they had moved and did not clean up their mess. We had to sweep and wash out garage after they left. Upon comparing the quote to the final cost, they added more expenses. They charged us twice for credit card fee, the van stock went from 15 dollars to 165, and they removed the 40 dollar coupon we had. Not happy at a

I don't generally write a lot of reviews, but I felt I should here. They sent out an extremely knowledgeable, experienced dude, and I gave him a laundry list of about 100 items from our move-in inspection. Doors that needed reseating, curtain rods/curtains that needed installation, grouting and caulking in a bunch of places, rewiring a reversed socket, fixing a ventilation fan in a laundry room, figuring out how the heck my fireplace pilot light worked, balcony facing that was coming off, metal shelving that was the perfect height to cave in my head and needed to be raised, etc. etc. You name it, they knew how to fix it (or how to figure out how to fix it), and they taught me a *ton* as a first-time home-buyer about various systems in my house. Got an estimate, seemed reasonable, accepted it - and they managed to come in pretty far under estimate, despite me pestering them with dozens of questions about how things worked! Fantastic service, 100% worth every penny! Services: Fan repair
