Update: 8/15 - No one has reached out. During the project, we traded many conversations about the work and had to beg the GC to come and look at the work. He brushed off my father and left the project. The lack of supervision led to a number of issues with the project. Communication was poor. I made an appointment with Don from Master Remodelers for siding replacement for our League City house. Don arrived on time and we went over a checklist of what I wanted for this 35 year old house. We agreed on replacement of the exterior pressboard siding, fascia, and soffit and to install new rain gutters and downspouts. Don recommended using LP Smartside products for the 50 year warranty and impact resistance (think rocks & lawnmowers or kids and baseballs/rocks/etc). Plus, it was less expensive than the popular cement board siding. Don ordered the products and scheduled a crew for two weeks after our meeting. The crew showed up ready to work. They tore off the old siding and Don checked to be sure there was no insect or water or age damage to the frame or insulation. The siding crew finished the siding and paint in 4 1/2 days and the gutter crew came out and installed the gutters and downspouts. All the trash and debris was picked up and taken away.
