Designer Roofing

We used Designer Roofing at the suggestion of our realtor Eve Henry. In May of 2021 we had to have our roof replaced before we could sell the house and it was a last minute request of the buyers, Aaron came out and made it happen over a weekend so that it would not cause our closing to be pushed out. The company is amazing, and he is great. Fast forward to today... We had what looked like a leak in our upstairs bathroom. I called them over the Memorial Day weekend, they called me back first thing Tuesday and came out today. It wasn't a roof leak but high humidity but inspected our roof anyway and stated it looked great. Honest. They are always honest and I will never use any other roofer. My partner and I had to file an insurance claim to replace a failed membrane roofing system on our incredibly low sloped roof which are notorious for being susceptible to leaking. After trouble working with one roofer we wisely switched over to Designer Roofing for our standing seam roof installation based on Aaron's refreshing communication skills and capacity to not treat the homeowner as incapable of understanding the product and installation process. Part of our reasoning for the standing seam roof was to prepare for a solar panel install as well, which is the preferred and best roof for the longevity and maintenance of the solar panels. Aaron was already versed in this knowledge and was very kind in communicating details directly with the solar panel company prior to their installation which gave us comfort and confidence in our investment. We had our roof replaced about a year ago by Designer and it was good experience and the work appears to be good. I was an advocate of their work and recommended them to several neighbors but lately I haven't had such a great experience. I've had a couple of things done post roof change and my I feel as though they are taking advantage of my previous relationship. I had to replace a solar vent and had a different vent pipe swapped for our water heaters. The latter job took less than 10 minutes and it's a shock to pay $150 to $200 dollars for a service fee, considering that I'm a customer and was hoping to be a life long customer. I wanted to use the same crew to not void any warranty work but now I'm not sure that I will use them again in the future or that I will be recommending going forward. There are a lot of similar businesses in the area and in my opinion the overall customer experience from sales to post support should be treated equally. Taking advantage of existing customers
