Fix My AC & Heating

Fix My AC did a poor installation of my Air handler at an investment property that I am responsible for. I was quoted a price for a Furdown installation (which means a Ceiling mounted). What I got was a unit mounted on a 2x4 stand in a carpeted room next to a Closet without my approval nor the manager that I hired to pay for it. When Shawn the owner of Fix My AC was made aware of this he told me it could not be installed in the ceiling due to size constraints. I told him we have a 108 units here and this was never an issue before. I even told him the model number and where is had been installed recently. I then hired another contractor and got a bid to correct the situation and asked Shawn if he would pay for the new install and he agreed to do just that. I asked him to contact the manager to complete the transaction and he said he would do so. To this day he has never contacted us to pay for it. Just be aware is not a man of his word. This is my 4th time using Fix My AC and Heating , I met Shawn from when he had First Branched our to his own company . He was great from the get go! My AC went out in my house and I called First thin in the morning and Ray was great about fitting me into Shawn’s schedule, towards the end of the day, to come out and diagnose the issue. He was able to fix the issue in the spot. They kept me in the loop with status alerts all day. Very reasonable pricing , I felt, on what all had to get done! Shawn even recommended a part that was not needed but could help my AC to last longer and not so much wear from the electricity on start up in the future , reasonable price for this little investment, for the future . I highly recommend! Great value and awesome service. When our air went out in 100 degree weather Shawn was there within an hour when no other company had even returned the call. While we didn’t need a new unit at that very moment we went ahead and purchased a new American Standard from him which he installed the very next day and my house is now cold! Service is outstanding and they don’t leave you hanging, that it so refreshing. Love ya Shawn!
