Shout out to Taurus Mechanical for their quick response getting to my house to get my AC going again. My thermostat went out on Mother’s Day morning, so my AC didn’t work.???? I used Taurus one time to fix my heater and their price was reasonable, so I decided to use them second time. However trust doesn’t last long! Second time I feel completely ripped off. I was charged $1152 to replacing a motor which costs around $400 online. I will not use them again and I would not recommend their business to anyone either.

I have used Taurus several times and have invariably dealt with two people---the owner John and his associate, Robert. They are both exceptional. Courteous, responsive, honest and really good at what they do. After trying many HVAC people, they have become my go-to simply because they are extremely honest and this is something I have had trouble with a few others I have dealt with. I usually don't write reviews but a recent incident has prompted me to post something. On Christmas eve, the coldest day in Houston, my elderly parents heating "broke down". We were very concerned if someone will come on Christmas eve. Not only were Taurus extremely responsive, they assured me that despite the large number of calls they plan to leave no one without heat. As promised, they (Robert in this case) arrived on time. It turned out to be a very minor issue so was resolved within a minute.
