My HVAC air compressor failed after only 3 years and Juan came in and quickly assessed the situation and gave me 2 options, replace the compressor or the condenser at twice the cost. He found a replacement compressor and saved me at a significant amount. No one else I talked with offered those options. He installed the compressor the very next morning in less than 2 hours Great to work with and very efficient...Xtreme is the best service company I have worked with in over 20 years of home ownership. Communication was not wonderful-was given a time frame for an appointment, no one showed up during that time frame…called an hour and a half after and said no one could make it, it would be next day. Was given a time frame for next day, nobody showed up. Called an hour and a half after time of appointment, and was then given a new time and that someone was on their way. I wouldn’t be so frustrated if the communication had been more up front. I had to reach out to find out if someone was still coming. As far as service-our technician was polite, helpful, and efficient. If I were rating on just service alone, 5 stars. But customer service/communication…not great. Service: A/C system repair
I hired Xtreme Air Services to replace all the existing ducts in my home as some were mylar and could not be cleaned. When they said they were complete I stated I had no air in the master bedroom and bath. The technician stated it was a long run and would take a day stabilize. My comment was I retired after 40 years in construction; "That is not a true statement." He turned and walked away. About 30 minutes later another workman stated something was reversed and he corrected it. I now had air flowing. The day after the installation I reviewed their work in my attic. All looked good from the attic access point but, going back through the attic I discovered 7 of the 14 duct runs were not fully replaced. They still were of mylar material. Also, none of the 14 ducts had dampers that were to be installed at the plenum. After 2 reviews of the installation, two workmen came back and completed the project successfully.
