New Tex Plumbing

Contacted New Tex Plumbing on Monday, February 2 about noon, spoke with 'Rita,' who said she'd have someone call me to discuss my plumbing issues. Two our of three toilets in my home were not functioning, which I shared with her. To date, Thursday, February 4, I've not heard a peep from New Tex. I called Bradbury Brothers on Tuesday morning, had a working toilet by that afternoon, and waiting for parts for the other toilet. How do companies operate like -- no communication with customers -- this and stay in business, especially smaller companies?!?

If I could give this company zero stars I would, I don’t ever leave reviews but this has been a horrible experience. I am forced to go through this company due to my builder and our warranty. They continuously show up whenever they want to if they show up at all. It took me calling them 20 times and leaving voicemails each time before I required an owner to call me back the first service call. She was very helpful and somebody finally came out and did the work. Although this is true the technician that showed up, showed up smelling of BO and cigarettes like nobody’s business (I am an ex smoker I can handle some stink). Every problem within the house that I shared with him was then blamed on some other aspect, city water, the builder etc. I have had another issue since then and the builder has attempted to send out new Tex. The scheduler who answered the phone, Laurie is incredibly unprofessional and talked over me while I tried to explain the situation several times and when she didn’t

I emailed them regarding servicing my water heater but, got no reply. So I decided to call them a couple of days later since my home builder recommended them. The lady who answered seemed confused and told me she will have someone call me to give a quote but no one ever reached me. Went with another company since New Tex is a hassle to get through.
