HMI Heating and Air

Matt was the man! He cruised over from Brigham City faster than I had anticipated on a Sunday of all days, quickly replaced a part of our furnace that had broken and was finished all within less than an hour. Also, the cost of the visit, labor and part was cheaper than I was expecting as well. Very satisfied and will definitely be contacting him again for any furnance work needed.

We have had continual problems since we moved in just over a year ago. This was the third time that our warranty company has had to set up a service call for the AC going out. I called HMI today and Matt came and looked at our system. He went the extra mile and tore the system down fairly deeply. He found that during construction a large 8x10 block of wood had been dropped down one of the ducts and was blocking about 50% of the air flow. This would cause the AC unit to freeze up. Matt went the extra mile by diagnosing the problem and fixing the issue.

The company has been contracted by the builder they were scheduled to come out and complete the setup of our AC unit but haven’t completed in the timeframe promised. I called a few times to get an understanding of what’s holding up the process and on both occasions I was told they would look into it and call me right back however I never received an update. The days the service technicians were scheduled to come out I seen them out in the parking lot just socializing instead of working on other owners units.
