Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I made an appointment to have someone come quote me to come fix a copper pipe with a broken solder joint in an exposed portion of my wall. A very easy fix, I just didn't have the tools myself to do it and wanted it done quickly, so we could get our water back on. They said they would be at my home between 8am and 10am, they showed up after noon. 2 hours past the late end of what they told me, making my wife miss multiple hours of work not getting paid. Once the plumber arrived they looked at it and quoted my wife $600 for the fix. Absolutely insane! They said they have a $400 minimum labor fee for all fixes and needed $200 in parts. My wife called me and told me the quote and I told her to tell them no thank you because it was way too expensive. Then after she said that to them they said they "Took another look and it will actually only be $400 for the whole fix." Still way too expensive for the fix.
