So yesterday morning our garbage disposal started leaking. Great, we have a contract with Bremac Air, call 'em up. First we are told $100 emergency fee since it's Sunday - okay, not the best, but okay. Second phone call, oh I misspoke, there's also a $115 diagnostic fee...then it will be parts and labor added on to the $215. I'm sorry, diagnostic fee for what? We've asked that you remove the garbage disposal and just pipe in the second drain - there is nothing to diagnose. No budging, I canceled the service call and went out to Lowes. My husband calls me and says they're offering a coupon and 15% off, they'll call with the approximate cost before coming out. LONG STORY SHORT - they were saying it would be CHEAPER to replace the garbage disposal than it would be to remove it and pipe in the second drain. I'm sorry, what?! How is NOT buying a $150-$250 garbage disposal CHEAPER than some PVC pipes?! They quote us around $500...Something is very off here. Five or six trips to Lowes, a few
We have been Bremac customers for several years and have always been very satisfied. Our heat pump went down and Ross came out and performed diagnostics and had no good news on our 16 year old unit. Ross was thorough and very professional. He took all info and Ron in sales called the next day and we discussed options. He was also very helpful , knowledgable and professional. Within 10 days the new system was being installed. Ron even offered loaner window units due to the heat. Nathan and Hayden did the install over 2 days. They were very professional and did a very good job explaining the new system. They cleaned everything up and the only way you new they were is we had a new system. Nathan and Chase did an excellent installation of a new Mitubishi heat pump to replace our 17 year old system. They worked hard, kept us up to date on the installation progress, answered all of our questions, asked questions of us when necessary and had great attention to detail. They also alerted us to a non-HVAC issue in our crawl space. We're very happy with the new system and thank Ron for the reccomendation of this particular heat pump. Thanks!
