Called A-1 American to look at our hot water heater that was in the attic because I noticed a water mark on the ceiling and was unsure if it was ready to go. A-1 American showed up within an hour and a half to quote us a new hot water heater. They arrived the next day and put it in. When my husband got home from work, he went a checked it. The technician had not tightened the gas line so gas fumes were all in the attic, which could have been a major issue if this was not caught. So my husband tightened it and then realized they had left the overflow pipe off. So he called them and they came back 3 days later to put that back on. Overall, the timeliness on getting the technician there was great. However, leaving the gas on without tightening it could have been one costly mistake not to mention lives could have been lost.
