I called for a plumber and got a salesman. A technician from Advanced Plumbing came out and looked at my defective shower handle for about 5 minutes. He told me that he had to break into the wall from the other side and replace the whole system - handle, faucet, valve, and showerhead. When I asked him to just replace the cartridge from the front and said that I would take my chances with the rest, he suddenly had a plumbing emergency and left. He still charged me $190. Another company came a few days later and changed the cartridge without ripping into the wall. Everything is fine now. I think Advanced Plumbing just thought they could take advantage of a retired senior citizen. I wouldn’t trust them. Service: Shower repair

Please be aware of this business as they are unprofessional and the owner is hot tempered and even threatening at times. Has serious anger management issues. They will underbid to get the contract and keep adding erroneous charges over time. They will not honor their supposedly workman guaranteed which is supposed to last 1 year and instead they will come up with bizarre reasons why something is not covered by their warranty. I had a residential project completed by them and had several water damages in less than 5 months of their completion their work. The brand new toilet line they had installed that leaked and caused water damage to the first floor even before clients moved in, requiring it all to be repaired while they refused to admit fault on the work that they did. It took them more than 6 tries to get the residential plumbing inspection passed due to various issues. They like to cut corners and their workmanship is below what is considered acceptable. Plumber arrived within the allocated work time window, and did an excellent job on repairs and explaining the problem. Would highly recommend and utilize company in the future. Service: Toilet repair
