We had an outlet spark/arc when we were replacing drywall, knocking out power to 1/3 of our house. I thought I would just go and flip the breaker back on - only it was not tripped. I knew we had a problem then and was beginning to be concerned how much it may cost to fix it. I had called one electrician prior to Chris who could not locate the problem and said he would need to come back the next day to try and find - or I could just find someone else. I told him I would try someone else. I called Praxis Electrical and Chris said he could come out that afternoon, which he did, and take a look at. He was here a just little over 2 hours and found, and fixed the problem at a very reasonable cost. He is very good at what he does and professional and nice. Highly recommend. Chris responded quickly to my request for a couple quotes on things around the house I wanted done. Was able to get me the quote and complete the work just as quickly. Looks clean and works great. Our wired doorbell shorted out, and Chris came to install a new wireless model. Upon removing the old wired chime on the wall, he discovered that the apparatus was still warm, and had actually charred the drywall! Although he capped the wires inside and outside, for his own piece of mind he went up into our attic to locate the transformer to disable it, to make doubly sure that there wouldn't be an electrical fire.
