I manage an Airbnb locally here in the Virginia Beach area. Needless to say having our AC functioning in top-notch condition is a priority and must. On Friday night I got the message that every host dreads, it was 81° in the house and the tenants were miserable. I called back to back companies and after 3 attempts, Absolute Comfort Heating and Cooling was on site within 45 minutes. The technician told me that he tested the capacitor which he found to be bad and swapped that out free of charge. That allowed the air to start moving but unfortunately never got cold. He then advised me that the condenser had failed and he unfortunately did not have the part on his truck to replace it. He told me that the parts store was closed on the weekend and he would be able to take care of it on Monday. We were initially quoted 600 bucks for the part. On Monday I called and was told that the part had to be ordered from Delaware and the quote had changed from $600-$1200. I have a copy of the quote wher
