I had read positive reviews about Mark at Good Plumber. We called him and he came out the same day. We were having horrible problems with our toilet, pipes, etc. My husband had pulled the sheetrock off the walls 3 prior times and made attempts at the repair that would last only 6 months. Mark came out, examined everything, gave a thorough review of my hubby's work, told him what was wrong and what he actually needed to do. He said my hubby had done most of the work and felt he could not charge us. He showed us exactly what to do and made a list for us of what to correctly get for the repairs. I was shocked at his kindness and willingness to teach. We will for sure call again for future problems beyond our ability. He is a rare jewel. Thank you Mark! Our city utility flushed the water mains and the extreme pressure was too much for our aging plumbing. It caused a full fledged plumbing Armageddon in our house: over a single weekend discovered hot water tank was leaking, the pipe under kitchen sink burst; water from upstairs bathroom started coming through downstairs ceiling, and downstairs toilet dumped water all over floor. Worse,we were waiting for out of town guests to arrive. Once we recovered from our astonishment at all this happening at once, I called Good Plumber, based on good reviews and location. Like a knight in shining armor, Mark came to the rescue within the hour. He spent all day fixing plumbing in four different rooms. Lots of new parts and pipes, he even fixed some crumbling parts we didn't know were broken. (As time passed I watched him work while dollar signs were adding up in my head.) Besides being an excellent plumber, Mark was polite, personable, and provided a detailed explanation of everything he did
