I got various quotes from hearing and cooling companies in the area. East Hill Heating & Cooling stood out immediately! Christy was so UNBELIEVABLY nice over the phone, truly amazing customer service! They came out right away for a quote and they were SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive than any of their competitors. They aren’t trying to up-sell you on anything, Doug knows his stuff and told me exactly what I needed. He explains everything in detail and let’s me know why other companies might make suggestions on things and why they are simply trying to up-sell you. I have a friend in HVAC and he confirmed this too. Doug is an expert who has been doing this for 30+ years and it was clear right away! We had to wait a month to get an installation but that is understandable in the heart of the summer. When the day finally came he did the entire job by himself which was extremely impressive. I can't say enough positive words about this business. After last summer's heat wave, we began to think about adding AC to our home. We also had a 40+ year old furnace that we decided to replace at the same time. We called several businesses for estimates, and I was very grateful for the detailed explanation of options from East Hill's owners , Doug and Christy. They were very clear about which options would provide the necessary heating and cooling while being the most dependable and not going overboard.
