I can’t recommend Cardinal Heating and Air highly enough. On a scale of 1-10, 11. I’ve now had Cardinal do two different projects for me. I selected their bid for a new two zone heat pump in one part of my house and then, shortly after and completely unrelated, my main furnace went out. Thankfully the timing was right and they had a slot to uninstall my old and install a new high efficiency gas furnace in very short order. I was very impressed that even though they were quite busy and I was originally booked out months ahead, when the time came, they came out on time as planned. An unexpected noise issue from where the heat pump compressor was mounted and some hidden plumbing in a kitchen wall added to the length and difficulty of the project but never did I lose confidence that they wouldn’t quit till I was completely satisfied. I had 3 reputable companies provide bids on AC and heat installation. None were what you'd call inexpensive, but Cardinal's bid came in lowest with the best solution for my purposes. I have duct work only on the 3rd floor and radiant heating on the 1st and second floors, so it was not a straightforward job. In terms of the installation, the work was meticulous and well thought out. I didn't want conduit/conduit wires plastered all over the outside of my house, and inside, I didn't want the conduit to be obtrusive. (Solon, who came out to provide the estimate took my requirements into account in providing the estimate and outlining the work.) On both fronts, I would say the outcome is low profile. Further, Mike, who headed up the installation work, really cared about the quality of his work and he and his crew left the work areas clean every day. Had Cardinal upsize my gas line for the newly installed fireplace, big job in tight spaces. The original gas line installation was comical, loosely secured running over the top of ducting, and more. The tech they sent was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. Cardinal's attention to detail and pride in their work clearly showed. In addition, he pointed out issues with my ducting (also comical) and as expected, offered to take care of it as any business would do. Then, to my surprise, he went on to share with me how I could take care of it myself if cost was an issue, amazing customer service.
