Olson Energy Service

Called due to leaking water heater while I was out of town and my pregnant wife was home. The technician (Yuri) criticized my wife for not having replaced the heaters sooner and then left without doing the most basic mitigations, leaving the tank to flood my services room. I called Olson and spoke with a man (Chris?) explaining the situation (i.e. this being an emergency). He told me that he would call me back in a few minutes but he never did and when I tried to call back they did not answer the phone. I ended up having to research what to do (thanks Google!) and coach my wife to turn off the water and gas valves to the water heater tank. Why Yuri didn't do this basic mitigation step is hard to comprehend. It has been 3 days and I still have not received a call from Olson. As a result we found Best Plumbing who were fast, professional and fixed everything the same day that we spoke with them. I will be using Best Plumbing from now on. Olson installed our heat pump a few years ago. Great price. On time. Very professional. No problems whatsoever and the heat pump has worked magnificently. Definitely recommend. We were especially happy that they didn't try to upsell us and that when we call we are able to reach someone directly rather than going thru a phone service. They have provided two service calls for us. One for a checkup on the heat pump (everything great!) and one to help us with a filter system that had gone awry (not installed by them). Olson did a great job installing our new air conditioning. The crew was absolutely fantastic, patient and did a thoughtful and wonderful job. We were happy with their work and the price. Would highly recommend them in the future for any home hvac project.
