Mark came, found the problem, dealt with it in timely manner. Didn't try to upsell me services. Gave me valid information, and reasons. I would definitely call on him again. Plus his is a local business.
I recently had a contractor removing a bulkhead in our kitchen area and he accidentally cut one live wire that needed to be repaired and found one wire that was unused and needed to be capped off. Seems like a pretty simple job. I called Wire One, was charged a $70 service fee, and was told it was a difficult issue and the estimate for the fix was almost $2000 and would result in 3 outlet boxes in my ceiling. Not ideal! I passed and called Northside Electric for a second opinion. They were friendly and professional on the phone, and the technician was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He quickly determined the problem was similar to what I thought it was, and a somewhat minor issue. He was here for about 2 hours, fixed the issue without leaving awkward outlet boxes in my ceiling, and even optimized a situation he noticed with another switch on the same wall. We were charged a couple hundred dollars, which was what we were expecting for the issue. They were honest about the issu
They upgraded some outlets and added one, did excellent work at a fair price. I was very pleased. A month later I tried to schedule more work with them, but they just don't answer the phone and that is the only way I can find to reach this business. They called back and left a message once. I gave up after a half dozen tries. Northside does good work - if you can reach them.
